Abstract of the Disclosure Fiber-containing polyurethane foams are provided, which contain from 0.1 to 10% by weight, relative to the finished foam, of polyolefin fibers containing groups reacting with isocyanates. The foams display an improved behaviour on compression and, in the range of more than 50% of compres- sion, the foams absorb a higher compression stress than foams without reactive polyolefin fibers or containing non- reactive polyolefin fibers.
