Le procédé comprend le bobinage, sur un support cylindrique comportant un canal central, d'une première couche formant en enroulement hélicoïdal de fibre optique à pas constant, le passage de la fibre optique au travers du canal central sous la forme s'une spire unique et le bobinage de couches supplémentaires, dans le même sens que la première couche, en utilisant les espaces interspices des couches sous- jacentes. Application aux gyroscopes du type interféro- mètre de SAGNAC.
