A blown-film process for making a fiber-reinforced film comprises providing and melting at least one thermoplastic resin. The at least one thermoplastic resin is extruded through an extension die to form a film bubble. A plurality of fibers is introduced inside of the film bubble. The fibers are distributed inside of the film bubble. The film bubble is collapsed after introducing the plurality of fibers so as to form a fiber-reinforced film. The fiber- reinforced film has a first thermoplastic layer, a second thermoplastic layer, and a plurality of fibers dispersed therebetween. The film may be formed in a bag.

L'invention concerne un processus pour film tubulaire destiné à fabriquer un film renforcé de fibres qui consiste à fournir et à faire fondre au moins une résine thermoplastique. Cette résine est extrudée à travers une filière d'extension de manière à former une bulle de film. Une pluralité de fibres sont introduites à l'intérieur de ladite bulle. Ces fibres sont distribuées à l'intérieur de la bulle de film. Celle-ci se rompt après introduction de la pluralité de fibres de manière à former un film renforcé de fibres. Ce dernier présente une première couche thermoplastique, une seconde couche thermoplastique, et une pluralité de fibres dispersées entre lesdites couches. Ce film peut permettre de former un sac.
