ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Fibre reinforced medical plaster casts of gypsum are reinforced with precombined mixtures of strong reinforcing fibres of glass coated with a thermoplastic polymer, and water absorbent fibres, e.g. cotton. The fibres are interwoven into a bandage, and impregnated with plaster of paris.
