There is provided a fibrous absorbent article (10) for absorbing body fluids. The article includes a fibrous material (12) suitable for absorbing the body fluids, and a molecular sieve (18) disposed within the fibrous material (12) to reduce odors from the body fluids. The molecular sieve (18) is a natural zeolite of the clinoptilolite or chabazite species having an exchangeable cation.

Cet article comporte un matériau fibreux (12) servant à absorber les liquides organiques, et un tamis moléculaire (18) placé à l'intérieur du matériau fibreux (12) de façon à réduire les odeurs provenant des liquides corporels.
