La présente invention concerne la réalisation d'une armature pour pièce de matière composite, comprenant un substrat fibreux (22, 23) renforcé par un fil de piquage formant des points de piquage (27.1, 27.2; 30.1, 30.2, 33.1, 33.2 et 36.1, 36.2) traversant ledit substrat. Selon l'invention, lesdits points de piquage sont obkiques et traversent ledit substrat en biais en faisant un angle d'inclinaison au plus égal à 30°. Il est avantageux que ledit substrat fibreux soit constitué de nappes de fils croisés (22, 23) délimitant des mailles (24), traversées par lesdits points de piquage.
