ABSTRACT Fibrous white electrically conductive material and a coating composition containing the same. The material is made from fiber of alkali titanate aM2O?TiO2?bH2O wherein M is alkali metal including Li, Na and K O < a < 1/8.5 O < b which is coated with tin oxide (2 - 500 parts by weight every 100 parts by weight of the fiber). The material is applied to paper, plastics or rubber and gives high electrical conductivity thereto.
