A field joint (104) for connecting a plurality of downhole tool modules is disclosed. The modules include a housing and an electrical line. A bulkhead (224) is coupled to a first module (116) that includes a first conduit aperture for receiving an electrical connector assembly (242). The first electrical connector assembly is releasably coupled to the exterior portion of the first module and includes a first connector having a first end adapted for electrical coupling to an electrical line. A connector block (200) is coupled to the second module (118) that includes a second conduit aperture positioned to substantially face the first conduit aperture when the first and second modules are joined. A second electrical- connector is disposed in the second conduit aperture and is electrically coupled to an electrical line such that an electrical contact is established with a second end of the first connector when the first and second modules are joined.
L'invention concerne un joint de conduite (104) destiné à relier une pluralité de modules d'outil de fond de puits. Les modules comprennent un boîtier et une ligne électrique. Une cloison (224) est reliée à un premier module (116) qui comprend une première ouverture de conduite destinée à recevoir un ensemble raccord électrique (242). Le premier ensemble raccord électrique est relié de manière libérable à la partie extérieure du premier module et comprend un premier raccord ayant une première extrémité adaptée pour être couplée électriquement à une ligne électrique. Un bloc raccord (200) est relié au second module (118) qui comprend une seconde ouverture de conduite positionnée pour être sensiblement en vis-à-vis de la première ouverture de conduite lorsque les premier et second modules sont reliés. Un second raccord électrique est disposé dans la seconde ouverture de conduite et est relié électriquement à une ligne électrique de sorte qu'un contact électrique est établi avec une seconde extrémité du premier raccord lorsque les premier et second modules sont reliés.
