FIGURE DISPLAYING DEVICE Abstract of the Disclosure A figure displaying device generates edge data corresponding to individual horizontal scanning lines, to display figures on a raster scanning type Braun (trade mark) tube relying upon the edge data. The improvement of the invention provides at least two sets of memory groups which have a capacity corresponding to the number of picture elements at even and odd number positions on the horizontal scanning lines, and which store predetermined data in the addresses corresponding to the picture elements at which edges are present. At least two converters convert the data read in parallel from the memory groups into series data, A selection circuit selects the outputs of the converter means, and a control circuit displays figures on a monitor responsive to the output of the selection circuit.
