A figure type toy comprises a torso portion having an outer shell defining a substantially hollow central portion. A removable and replaceable stomach member dimensioned to fit within the substantially hollow central portion. An throughpassage is disposed in the outer shell of the torso portion for permitting access to the substantially hollow central portion. The throughpassage is shaped and dimensioned such that the outer shell retains the removable and replaceable stomach member in removable relation within the substantially hollow central portion. Alternatively, there is separate means to retain the removable and replaceable stomach member in removable relation in the substantially hollow central portion.
