A pressure-sensitive tape comprising a backing, a layer of corrosion-resistant filaments on one surface of the backing, and pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that coats the filaments and binds them to the backing. A method for constructing a member for undersea deployment is provided, which comprises providing at least one tubular member, winding a wire reinforcement about the tubular member(s); and winding a corrosion- resistant filament-reinforced material over the wire reinforcement; and coating the filament reinforced member(s) with a layer of extruded polymer.
L'invention concerne une bande sensible à la pression comprenant un dos, une couche de filaments résistant à la corrosion sur une surface du dos et une couche adhérente sensible à la pression qui enrobe les filaments et les lie au dos. L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de constituer un élément en vue d'un déploiement sous-marin, lequel comprend l'utilisation d'au moins un élément tubulaire, le bobinage d'un renforcement en câble autour du ou des éléments tubulaires et le bobinage d'un matériau renforcé de filaments résistants à la corrosion sur le renforcement en câble, ainsi que le revêtement du ou des éléments renforcés de filaments avec une couche de polymère extrudé.
