ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to pipe couplings, and more particularly to a glass fiber reinforced resin pipe coupling for pipes. Pipe registering means are formed with the pipe coupling but are less than fully bonded to the coupling struc- ture so that if any damage of the registering portion occurs on the pipe the remainder of the coupling may be intact and a good joint will be provided. A method for making such pipe couplings is also taught.
