A novel file pocket construction is disclosed. The file pocket has rectangular side panels, an expandable sheet attached to the side panels on three sides, a pair of narrow fabric strips each overlying and sandwiching an edge of a side of the sheet and an edge of each of the bottom and sides of a panel, with threads stitched through the strip, panel and sheet.
