Porous silicon dioxide glass with a particle size of 0.5-50 µm, a pore size of 20-120 nm, a pore volume of 200-1000 mm3/g and a BET surface of 10-100 m2/g is suggested as an inorganic filler for polymerizable materials. Polymeric products containing this filler are characterized by very good abrasion resistance.

Un verre poreux de dioxyde de silicium caractérisé par une granulométrie variant de 0,5 à 50 micromètres, une taille des pores variant de 20 à 120 nm, un volume poreux de 200 à 1 000 mm3/g et une surface BET de 10 à 100 m2/g est proposé comme charge inorganique pour les matières polymérisables. Les produits polymériques contenant cette charge se caractérisent par une très bonne résistance à l'abrasion.
