This invention provides a film coated solid oral dosage form. The coated form comprises a solid core and at least two separately applied coatings or layers. The first layer, which is a seal coat, contains a swellable polymer, such as hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose. The second layer, which is a release coat, contains carrageenan, microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, and taste modifying agents. In an embodiment the coating contains readily releasable volatile and non-volatile flavoring and cooling agents together with sweeteners, to provide an intense cooling effect which is instantly perceived by the consumer upon placing the dosage form in the oral cavity.

L'invention concerne une forme galénique orale solide enrobée d'un film. La forme enrobée comprend un cAEur solide et au moins deux revêtements ou couches appliquées séparément. La première couche, qui est un revêtement d'étanchéité, contient un polymère gonflable, tel que l'hydroxypropyl méthyl cellulose. La seconde couche, qui est un revêtement de libération, contient de la carraghénine, de la cellulose microcristalline, de l'hydroxypropyl méthyl cellulose et des agents modifiant le goût.
