The invention provides a coated tablet, a coating composition and a method of film coating. The coating is particularly useful for pharmaceutical tablets. The coating composition is composed of an aqueous solution of film forming inorganic salts which may be used with conventional coating techniques. Such film forming salts include sodium polyphosphate and sodium sulfate. This coating may be used on uncoated tablet cores, as a final coating or used a s a subcoating for other coatings, such as enteric coatings. Use of this coating composition provides savings in cost of materials and in manufacturing efficiency over previous polymeric cellulose coatings.
La présente invention concerne un comprimé enrobé, une composition d'enrobage et un procédé d'enrobage. L'enrobage est particulièrement utile pour les comprimés pharmaceutiques. La composition d'enrobage est composée d'une solution aqueuse de sels inorganiques filmogènes qui peuvent être utilisés selon des procédés d'enrobage conventionnels. Ces sels filmogènes comprennent du polyphosphate de sodium et du sulfate de sodium. L'enrobage peut être utilisé comme revêtement final sur des noyaux de comprimés non enrobés, ou bien comme sous-couche sous d'autres enrobages tels que les revêtements gastro-résistants. L'utilisation de cette composition d'enrobage permet de réduire le coût des matières premières et d'améliorer l'efficacité de fabrication par rapport aux enrobages de cellulose polymère de l'état antérieur de la technique.
