ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A filter assembly particularly useful for the nuclear industry is provided with a number of cylindrical cartridge filters attached to a plenum chamber which is formed by a rotational moulding process. A rod is provided on the assembly which can be attached to an automatic handling device to allow remote fitting and removal of the filter assembly into and from a casing. The assembly is easy and cheap to manufacture and can be destroyed after use.
