Abstract of the Disclosure: A filter assembly characterized by a plurality of contamin- ant collection zones, respectively upstream and downstream of a portion of filter means within the assembly. The zones are simultaneously drainable by valve means common to both zones. A dual media unit: forms the filter means. Parts of the assembly form a "spin on" connection using threads on co-acting components to readily couple and decouple the parts.
