An improved filter bag is provided for mounting onto a suction mast (20) of a pool cleaner to retain and collect debris and the like vacuumed by the pool cleaner from submerged floor or wall surfaces of a swimming pool. The filter bag includes a porous bag-shaped filter element (22) having an open mouth mounted to a latch collar adapted for quick release coupling to a downstream end of the pool cleaner suction mast (20). The filter element (22) and latch collar include interfitting alignment members to ensure filter element (22) assembly with the latch collar in a desired front-to-rear orientation. The suction mast (20) and latch collar further include additional interfitting alignment members for latch collar mounting onto the pool cleaner in a desired front-to-rear orientation, thereby ensuring proper orientation of the filter bag on the pool cleaner.
Ce sac-filtre amélioré, qui se monte sur la mâture d'aspiration (20) d'un aspirateur de bassin, est destiné à retenir et recueillir les détritus et analogue aspirés par l'aspirateur sur le fond et les parois immergées d'une piscine. Ce sac-filtre comporte un élément filtrant poreux en forme de sac (22) dont l'embouchure ouverte est montée sur un collier de verrouillage conçu pour constituer un raccord rapide sur l'extrémité aval de la mâture d'aspiration (20) de l'aspirateur de bassin. L'élément filtrant (22) et le collier de verrouillage sont pourvus de raccords d'alignement, ce qui permet de les assembler selon l'orientation avant-arrière désirée. La mâture d'aspiration (20) et le collier de verrouillage sont, en outre, pourvus de raccords d'alignement auxiliaires, ce qui permet le montage du collier de verrouillage sur l'aspirateur de bassin selon l'orientation avant-arrière désirée et, partant, une orientation convenable du sac-filtre sur l'aspirateur de bassin.
