A filter cartridge (10) for jugs (1), comprising: - a first chamber (13) in which there is provided filtering material (12) which is able to filter water or liquids in general and in which there are defined an inlet (14) and an outlet (15) in order to allow the passage of water through the first chamber (13) in contact with the filtering material, - a second chamber (16) which communicates with the first chamber in order to collect the water being discharged from the first chamber, in which there is defined an opening (19) for discharging the water from the cartridge, which is open in the second chamber (16) at a level that is higher than a base (17) of the second chamber (16), in which the water being discharged from the first chamber (13) is collected.

Cartouche (10) filtre pour carafes (1), comprenant : - une première chambre (13) dans laquelle est disposé le matériau (12) filtrant qui est apte à filtrer l'eau ou les liquides en général et dans laquelle sont définis une entrée (14) et une sortie (15) afin de permettre le passage de l'eau au travers de la première chambre (13) en contact avec le matériau filtrant, - une seconde chambre (16) qui communique avec la première chambre pour collecter l'eau s'écoulant de la première chambre, dans laquelle est définie une ouverture (19) pour l'écoulement de l'eau issue de la cartouche, ouverture qui donne dans la seconde chambre (16) à un niveau supérieur à celui d'une base (17) de la seconde chambre (16), dans laquelle l'eau s'écoulant de la première chambre (13) est collectée.
