This invention relates to a filter felt and bag filters comprising an intimate staple fiber blend of 20 to 75 parts by weight polymeric staple fiber containing a polymer or copolymer derived from a monomer selected from the group consisting of 4,4'diaminodiphenyl sulfone, 3,3'diaminodiphenyl sulfone, and mixtures thereof; and 25 to 80 parts by weight of a heat resistant staple fiber selected from the group consisting on meta-aramid fiber, acrylic fiber, polyphenylene sulfide fiber, and para-aramid fiber; based on 100 parts by weight of the polymeric fibers and heat resistant fibers in the felt.
L'invention concerne des feutres de filtre et des filtres à manche comprenant un mélange intime de fibres courtes de 20 à 75 parties en poids de fibres courtes polymères contenant un polymère ou copolymère dérivé d'un monomère choisi dans le groupe incluant la 4,4'-diaminodiphénylsulfone, la 3,3'-diaminodiphénylsulfone et leurs mélanges ; et 25 à 80 parties en poids d'une fibre courte résistant à la chaleur choisie dans le groupe incluant une fibre de méta-aramide, une fibre acrylique, une fibre de poly(sulfure de phénylène) et une fibre de para-aramide pour 100 parties en poids de fibres polymères et des fibres résistant à la chaleur présentes dans le feutre.
