A filter-paper insert for a filter holder for producing brewed drinks such as coffee or tea. The filter-paper insert comprises at least one hollow chamber that is closed on all sides and is filled with a flavour carrier for the drink. The hollow chamber is formed by an additional filter-paper layer which is bonded to the filter-paper insert. The flavour carrier may comprise a dry water-soluble powder, a dry powder pressed into tablet form, or a liquid flavour carrier contained in closed water-soluble and food-safe covering.
