A system to allow modification of existing storm water filtered infiltration wells is disclosed. The filtered storm water infiltration units or recharge wells discharge water into the vadose zone or water table. As the recharge wells work, they may start to increase the local water table, so that the slots or unfiltered zone or the filters in the filtered units are resting in the water table. If for any reason, the owner of a filtered well, wishes to raise or lower the filters, without redrilling the well, the invention herein provides a tool to support the filters. The present invention relates to a technology to temporarily or permanently raise or lower the resting surfaces on which cartridge filters rest in a dry well
