A filter comprises a tubular body (1) fastened by clamps (2, 3) to a fluid duct. An upstream distribution plate (4) has through-holes and projecting sleeves (5) for receiving the upstream ends of filter elements (6) which extend axially within the body (1). The downstream portion comprises a manifold (12) with bevelled tubes (13) for receiving the downstream ends of the filter elements (6). Said manifold (12) is connected to a bend (11) leading to a single outlet passage (7) exiting sideways from the body (1).
