Abstract of the Disclosure An electrical connector having one or more terminals carrying a tubular filter device, includes a composite ground plate formed of a rigid metal plate and a superposed metal foil sheet. Each filter device passes through a respective aperture in the rigid metal plate and an aligned aper- ture in the foil sheet. Each aperture in the foil sheet is defined by several circumferentially spaced inwardly directed tines which, on insertion of a tubular filter device, become progressively sandwiched between this device and the wall of the associated aperture in the rigid plate. This ensures good ground connection to the tubular filter device.
