The invention concerns a deep fryer comprising a bowl (1'): a fry basket (4'); and a filtering vessel (3') receiving the basket (4') and sliding in the bowl (1') between a high position (above the maximum oil filling level) and a low position. The fryer further comprises elastic means (8') urging the vessel (3') towards its high position and means for temporarily locking (111, 103) the vessel (3') in low position. Said elastic means (8') enable the basket (4') and the filtering vessel (3') to rise simultaneously and prevent the debris from frying retained in the vessel from stagnating in the oil between two frying operations.

L'invention concerne une friteuse comprenant une cuve (1'); un panier de friture (4'); et un bac de filtration (3') recevant le panier (4') et coulissant dans la cuve (1') entre des positions haute (au-dessus du niveau maximum de remplissage en huile) et basse. La friteuse comprend en outre des moyens élastiques (8') qui sollicitent le bac (3') vers sa position haute et des moyens de verouillage temporaire (111, 103) du bac (3') en position basse.
