The invention relates to a structure comprising first and second filtering elements (15A, 15B) which are respectively provided with a first and a second surface (24A, 24B) facing each other, and a seal (17) connecting the two surfaces (24A, 24B). The first surface (24A) comprises at least one first region (35A) that does not adhere, or only slightly adheres, to said seal (17), as opposed to a first region (33B) that strongly adheres to the seal (17) of the second surface (24B). The first region (35A) is defined by at least part of the common edge (37) of the first surface (24A) and a discharge surface (23), and comprises a lateral edge (41A) which diverges towards the discharge surface (23) and extends up to the common edge (37). The invention can be applied to particle filters for exhaust gases of an engine.

Cette structure comprend des premier et deuxième organes de filtration (15A, 15B) qui présentent respectivement une première et une deuxième faces (24A, 24B) disposées en regard l'une de l'autre et un joint (17) de liaison desdites faces (24A, 24B). La première face (24A) comprend au moins une première région (35A) d'adhérence faible ou nulle avec ledit joint (17), en regard d'une première région (33B) d'adhérence forte avec ledit joint (17) de la deuxième face (24B). La première région (35A) d'adhérence faible ou nulle est délimitée par au moins une partie de l'arête commune (37) à la première face (24A) et à une face d'évacuation (23). La première région (35A) d'adhérence faible ou nulle comporte un bord latéral (41A) de forme divergente vers la face d'évacuation (23) et qui s'étend jusqu~à ladite arête commune (37). Application aux filtres à particules pour les gaz d'échappement d'un moteur.
