An air filtering apparatus includes a flexible plenum chamber of a sheet-like material which is inflated by air forced out of the outlet of a fan body. The chamber is L-shaped, having a vertical portion and a cantilevered portion. One aspect of the invention provides an air diffuser on the top of the cantilevered portion adjacent the vertical portion. Another aspect of the invention has the cantilevered portion with two tubes.
