ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Filtration device of the kind comprising a rotary drum, a first continuous filter cloth surrounding a first angular sector of the drum and separated from it in a second angular sector, a series of cellular elements surrounding the said first sector. Each cellular element comprises a cell whose bottom has grooves in communication with a discharge orifice for clear liquid and lateral injection tube for impelling a charged liquid which is to be filtered abreast of each cell. The device further has a second continuous filter cloth also surrounding the first sector and separated from the drum in the second angular sector, the outer surface of the drum comprising abreast of each of the cells, a series of grooves in communication with an orifice for recovery of filtered liquid.
