A coupler (10a, l0b) for a spiral membrane filtration element having a spiral membrane enclosed within a rigid outerwrap includes a center support (12), a plurality of spokes (20) extending outwardly from the center support, a circular rim (22) coupled with the spokes, with the face of the rim being perpendicular to the axis of the overwrap. The rim includes a channel (28) on its face for receiving a compressible seal (25), and a plurality of receptacles (32) around its outer surface for joining two face-to-face adjacent couplers when a pair of aligned keepers (34) is place in each receptacle. Exemplary embodiments of the coupler and filtration elements and filtration assemblies are provided, as well as an associated method.
L'invention concerne un raccord (10a, 10b) destiné à un élément de filtration pourvu d'une membrane spirale logée dans une enveloppe externe rigide. Ce raccord comprend un support central (12), une pluralité de rayons (20) s'étendant vers l'extérieur à partir de ce support central, un bord circulaire (22) assemblé aux rayons, ce bord comprenant une face perpendiculaire à l'axe de l'enveloppe externe, comportant une rainure (28) dans destinée à recevoir un joint (25) compressible.
