ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The application concerns a readily resorb able and relatively easily soluble fine crystalline form of isoxicam which is prepared in that the active material is converted into a salt in aqueous solution by means of bases and is precipitated from this solution by means of dilute acids. The precipitate obtained is obtained as loose, non- adhering, white, floury powder in a particle size between 1 and 30 µm. When water is exclusively used for the washing.
