ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention is concerned with a fine filler for dental purposes, comprising finely divided particles of hydroxy-apatite or tetracalcium phosphate and a calcification promoting protein selected from the group consisting of phosvitan, casein and histidine-rich protein. The fine filler of the invention is particularly useful for protecting or restoring pits, fissures or minute decalcified surface lesions in the enamel of a tooth.
