Modifications of the traditional computer mouse and light pen are known, that claim to reduce the physiological demands of computer inputting by making slight changes to postural requirements. In this invention, the input device is secured to the user in a manner and location that allows for use of the device through interactivity of the thumb and fingers, without making any musculoskeletal demands on the rest of the body. The invention can be used in conjunction with other input devices including the keyboard, without being set aside and reacquired. As a result, this invention removes the vast majority of both the spatial and physiological demands usually associated with the use of digital input devices, making possible truly mobile, non-injurious interaction with one's computer or other digital devices.
