In a roll-type door, such as a sectional garage door, wherein a plurality of horizontally disposed panels are hingedly connected together at their adjacent inside edges, a series of flexible finger protecting strips are disposed longitudinally between adjacent panels. The strips have a H-shaped configuration with a web portion extending between the horizontal edges of the panels and front and rear portions that are integral with the web portion and contactingly engage the inside and outside upper and lower edges of the adjacent panels.
