FINISHING OF LEATHER WITH REACTION PRODUCTS OF EPOXIDES AND FATTY ACIDS Abstract of the Disclosure A process for finishing leather is provided in which the leather is treated with a preparation containing (1) a reaction product of (a) an epoxide and (b) a dimerised or trimerised fatty acid and (2) an etherified aminoplast precondensate. The treated leather is then dried at 50 to 120°C.
