A fire alarm device and method that can inform also people with visual and hearing difficulties of occurrence of fire. To emission control means (4) are connected fire-alarming means (1) for alarming the occurrence of fire and smell-emitting means (9) activated by the emission control means (4). The fire- alarming means (1) activates the emission control means (4) upon detecting the occurrence of fire. The emission control means (4) has smell condition-setting means (5) and activates the smell-emitting means (9) in accordance with smell conditions set by the smell condition-setting means (5). The smell condition- setting means (5) sets time to start the emission of smell to be continuously emitted, or sets the emission time period, emission intervals, and emission strength of smell to be intermittently emitted.

Cette invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé d'alarme-incendie permettant d'avertir des personnes mal voyantes ou mal entendantes en cas d'incendie. Sur des dispositifs anti-émissions (4) sont connectés des moyens d'alerte d'incendie (1) qui se déclenchent en cas d'incendie et des émetteurs d'odeurs (9) actionnés par les dispositifs (4). Les moyens d'alerte d'incendie (1) déclenchent les dispositifs anti-émissions (4) en cas de détection d'un feu. Les dispositifs anti-émissions (4) comportent des moyens de réglage d'odeurs (5) et déclenchent des moyens d'émission d'odeurs (9) en fonction des conditions de réglage des moyens de réglage d'odeurs (5). Ces moyens de réglage d'odeurs (5) déterminent le début d'émissions d'odeurs émises en permanence, la durée des émissions, les intervalles entre émissions et la puissance des odeurs émises de façon intermittente.
