A fire extraction nozzle system, for removing flames, heat, smoke, dust or gasses from a defined area. The invention comprises a tubular housing, surrounding a special nozzle or nozzles. High pressure water supplied to the nozzle system is discharged through the tubular housing at high speed, in the form of a fine mist. The periphery of the mist spray pattern substantially fills the profile of the housing. Rapidly moving water droplets, entrain, extinguish, and transport gasses, at significant velocity, in a desired direction.

Cette invention concerne un système de lutte contre les incendies par éjection qui chasse les flammes, la chaleur, la fumée, les poussières et les gaz d'une zone donnée. L'objet de l'invention comporte un logement tubulaire à l'intérieur duquel se trouvent une ou plusieurs lances. La ou les lances alimentées en eau sous haute pression projettent celle-ci à haute vitesse à travers le logement tubulaire sous forme de brouillard fin. Le jet de brouillard présente une forme qui épouse sensiblement celle du logement tubulaire. Les gouttelettes d'eau éjectées à haute vitesse chassent les flammes et les gaz de combustion à une vitesse appréciable dans la direction souhaitée.
