The present invention relates to a device which will prevent fire in electronics, where the electronics (1) and a surrounding volume (2) of a medium that has a low oxygen concentration are enclosed by a casing (3) which is impervious to diffusion and which is sealed with diffusion impervious joints (7) and has an outer incombustible layer (4).
