ABSTRACT The invention is concerned with a fire- resistant beam/column assembly for a steel-reinforced concrete structure, comprising a longitudinally extending beam having a web and a pair of flanges extending there- from and a column made of a column section having open compartments filled in part with concrete and flanges with outer surfaces which are not covered with concrete and are otherwise exposed. According to the invention, the web of the beam and one of the flanges of the beam are also exposed and the other flange of the beam supports a concrete platform and is provided with a plurality of steel concrete reinforcements which project into the platform. Each end of the beam is attached in a tension- fast and compression-fast manner to a fire-resistant column.
