The invention relates to a fire-resistant ceramic gas sink which can be fitted into a wall or the base of a vessel for receiving a metal melt. The gas sink comprises at least one channel extending from the cold side of the gas sink to a hot side thereof. The channel is fluidically connected on the cold side thereof to a gas supply device enabling a treatment gas to be introduced via said canal into the metal melt.

La présente invention concerne une brique de passage de gaz en céramique réfractaire à intégrer dans une paroi ou dans un fond d'un récipient conçu pour recevoir un bain de fusion métallique. Cette brique de passage de gaz présente au moins un canal qui s'étend du côté froid de la brique jusqu'à un côté chaud de la brique. Ce canal est connecté, du côté froid de la brique de passage de gaz et selon la technique des fluides, à un système d'alimentation en gaz qui permet d'amener un gaz de traitement dans le bain de fusion métallique, par l'intermédiaire du canal.
