ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A prefabricated fire-sealing lead-through bodyfor one or more conduits through a wall, for example. The body comprises a casing with elastic fire retardant foamed material disposed therein, said material being kept in the casing compressed transverse to the longitudinal axis of the casing, sealingly surrounding the conduit or conduits. From its one free end the casing is only partially filled with foamed material, the length of said material being adjusted to correspond to safety requirements made for the fire seal in question. The unfilled part of the casing has a length which adapts the whole length of the body to the wall thickness in question.
