ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A fire sprinkler monitoring system includes a plurality of fire sprinkler heads; each of the fire sprinkler heads have a fusible plug element and a heat sensing element. The fusible plug element is ejectable to permit the flow of liquid when a preset temperature threshold is reached. A remote sensing unit is coupled to the heat sensing element. The remote sensing unit is preset to issue a cautionary alarm whenever the heat sensed by the heat sensing element is greater than normal ambient room temperature thereby providing time to investigate a possible fire condition prior to the threshold temperature of the fusible plug element being reached.
