The glass fishing lure is invented because of a need to have a lure to catch salmon without using the traditional set up of placing a large flasher ahead of the fishing lure, to give an action which causes you to have to use a heavier rod, and reduces some of the pleasure of playing the fish. The kiln fired glass lure is shaped to represent an injured Herring,. It has a glass eye fused in,has the perfect slow roll,reflection,anti-UV, and translucent qualities and a strong copper wire with connectors at each end running through it. The kiln fired glass lure is made in a range of colours that work in any depth of water that Salmon congregate.. It is invented to catch Chum Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Pink Salmon, and Coho Salmon in salt water. It should also work for the catching of Rainbow Trout and other species of fresh water fish.A rubber lure and hook called a Hootchy can be attached directly to the tail of The Firefish Lure to act as another attractor. I have tested The Firefish Lure in Campbell River, British Columbia and have taken photographs and have testimonials of the Salmon that I caught with The Firefish Lure. It outfished the traditional method of using the Flasher.
