Yun 1 FIREPLACE HEATING DEVICE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A heating device for installation in a fire- place comprises an intake manifold connectable to a source of forced air and a plurality of adjacent tubes. The tubes are curved to extend below, behind and above material burning in the fireplace and have lower ends near the intake manifold, closed upper ends and a longitudinal interior divider extending diametrically across each of the tubes from near the lower end to near the closed upper end. The dividers are spaced- apart from the upper ends and form first and second adjacent passageways in each tube. The first passage- way of each tube is connected to the intake manifold near the bottom end of the tube and the second passage- way of each tube communicates with a hot air opening near the bottom end of the tube. The air from the in- take manifold circulates upwardly through the first passageways, downwardly through the second passageways and exits the device through the hot air openings.
