FIREPLACE LIGHT AND SCREEN ASSEMBLY Abstract of the Invention A fireplace light and screen assembly embodies a frame having an opening therein for receiving transparent closure panels with the frame being mounted in the usual opening of a fireplace. A support bracket is attachable to an upper rear portion of the frame during non-heating seasons and carries an elongated mounting bracket which extends alongside and rearwardly of the upper edge of the frame opening. A rearwardly projecting light shield is carried by and extends alongside the upper portion of the mounting bracket and an elongated light unit is mounted beneath the shield.
