The present invention relates to a Fisher-Tropsch catalyst comprising a compound of a catalytically active metal supported on a titania catalyst carrier having a rutile:anatase ratio of less than 2:3, and a surface area of less than 75 m2/g. The invention further relates to a process for the preparation of such catalyst, and to a process for the preparation of hydrocarbons which comprises contacting a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide at elevated temperature and pressure with the said catalyst.
La présente invention concerne un catalyseur Fischer-Tropsch comprenant un composé d'un métal actif sur le plan catalytique, placé sur un support de catalyseur au titane présentant un rapport rutile/anatase inférieur à 2/3, ainsi qu'une surface utile inférieure à 75 m<2>/g. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé de préparation d'un tel catalyseur ainsi qu'un procédé de préparation d'hydrocarbures, lequel consiste à mettre en contact un mélange d'hydrogène et de monoxyde de carbone, à température et pression élevées, avec ledit catalyseur.
