There is provided a process for hydrocarbon synthesis wherein a supported metal catalyst for hydrogenating carbon monoxide to form a mixture of hydrocarbons is regenerated by decresing its hydrocarbon content, impregnating under a non-oxidative atmosphere with a solution of at least one member selected from the group consisting of ammonium salts, alkyl ammonium salts and weak organic acids, optionally including ammonia, oxidizing with a gaseous oxidant in the presence of the impregnating solution, activiting the catalyst by reduction with hydrogen at elevated temperatures and reusing the catalyst. The treatement may be carried out in a single reactor, or by carring out up to all steps after catalyst has been withdrawn therefrom and returned to at least one reactor. Up to all steps subsequent to decreasing the hydrocarbon content may be affected in a subsequent reactor, or in specialized apparatus.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de synthèse d'hydrocarbures dans lequel un catalyseur métallique supporté conçu pour hydrogéner du monoxyde de carbone afin de former un mélange d'hydrocarbure est régénéré par réduction de sa teneur en hydrocarbure, par imprégnation, sous atmosphère non oxydante, avec une solution d'au moins un élément choisi dans le groupe formé par des sels d'ammonium, des sels d'alkyle ammonium et des acides organiques faibles, comprenant éventuellement de l'ammoniac, par oxydation avec un agent oxydant gazeux, en présence de la solution d'imprégnation, par activation du catalyseur à l'aide d'une réduction avec de l'hydrogène à des températures élevées et par réutilisation du catalyseur. Le traitement peut être effectué dans un seul réacteur ou par mise en oeuvre de jusqu'à toutes les étapes une fois que le catalyseur a été retiré du réacteur et ramené à au moins un réacteur. Jusqu'à toutes les étapes suivant la réduction de la teneur en hydrocarbure peuvent être mises en oeuvre dans un réacteur suivant ou dans un appareil spécialisé.
