A process is disclosed for producing hydrocarbons. The process involves contacting a feed stream comprising hydrogen and carbon monoxide with a catalyst in a reaction zone maintained at conversion-promoting conditions effective to produce an effluent stream comprising hydrocarbons. In accordance with this invention, the catalyst used in the process includes at least cobalt, rhenium, and a promoter selected from the group including boron, phosphorus, potassium, manganese, and vanadium. The catalyst may also comprise a support material selected from the group including silica, titania, titania/alumina, zirconia, alumina, aluminum fluoride, and fluorided aluminas.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'hydrocarbures. Le procédé consiste à mettre en contact un courant d'alimentation contenant de l'hydrogène et du monoxyde de carbone avec un catalyseur dans une zone de réaction maintenue dans des conditions favorisant la conversion et efficaces pour produire un courant effluent comprenant des hydrocarbures. Selon cette invention, le catalyseur utilisé dans le procédé comprend au moins du cobalt, du rhénium, ainsi qu'un promoteur choisi dans le groupe contenant du bore, du phosphore, du potassium, du manganèse et du vanadium. Le catalyseur peut également comprendre un matériau de support choisi dans le groupe contenant du dioxyde de silicium, du dioxyde de titane, du dioxyde de titane/oxyde d'aluminium, de la zircone, de l'oxyde d'aluminium, du fluorure d'aluminium ainsi que des alumines fluorurées.
