The invention is a process for producing a mixture of wax and crude oil which can be pumped at ambient temperature. The wax is preferably a Fisher-Tropsch wax. The temperature of the crude oil is controlled to a level below the dissolution temperature of the wax. The wax crystals are homogenized and dispersed into the crude oil to form a mixture. The present invention prevents the wax from dissolving in the crude oil and subsequently re- crystallizing at lower temperatures which can substantially increase the viscosity of the mixture thereby decreasing the effectiveness of transporting the mixture.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire un mélange de cire et de pétrole brut qui peut être pompé à température ambiante. La cire est, de préférence, une cire de Fischer-Tropsch. La température du pétrole brut est contrôlée à un niveau inférieur à la température de dissolution de la cire. Les cristaux de cire sont homogénéisés et dispersés dans le pétrole brut pour former un mélange. La présente invention empêche la cire de se dissoudre dans le pétrole brut et de se recristalliser à des températures inférieures susceptibles d'augmenter sensiblement la viscosité du mélange et, de ce fait, de réduire l'efficacité de transport de ce mélange.
