ABSTRACT A SIGNAL DEVICE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH A FISHING POLE FOR THE PURPOSE OF ALLERTING THE USER TO FISH ACTIVITY AT THE END OF HIS FISHING LINE, COMPRISED OF A LIGHT,BUZZER,SPRING,SWITCH,ENCLOSED IN A CONTAINER HELD IN PLACE AT THE BASE OF THE FISHING POLE BY MEANS OF FASTENERS. THE TENSION SWITCH IN THE UNIT IS CONNECTED TO THE POLE TIP BY MEANS OF A TENSION LINE RUNNING PARALLEL WITH THE FISHING POLE. THE LIGHT AND BUZZER ARE POWERED BY A DIRECT CURRENT SOURCE ALSO HOUSED IN THE UNIT. A FISH UPON DISTURBING THE BAIT AT THE END OF THE FISHING LINE SHALL ENGAGE THE SWITCH AND HENCE ACTIVATE THE LIGHT AND BUZZER WITHIN THE UNIT, THUS ALLERTING THE USER TO ACTIVITY AT THE END OF HIS LINE AS THIS ACTIVITY IS SOMETIMES DIFFICULT TO DETECT BY HUMAN MEANS.
